Our Partners

Our partner NGO’s including DAPTA, Swasthya Swaraj and FARR are engaged in the implementation of the Comprehensive Health Development Program in the three blocks of Kalahandi and Rayagada districts. The key focus of the programme are: a) Primary health care through outreach services, b)Reduction of death and burden due to communicable diseases like malaria, TB, diarrhoea, pneumonia and scabies, c) Improving RMNCHA services – with focus on reduction of maternal death and morbidity, reduction of infant mortality, under five mortality and malnutrition among children, and d)Community mobilisation.

Major activities related to malaria that they do:

The NGO partners are involved in various activities related to malaria. They include- Mal-Mal camp, EDCT, providing microscopy facility through laboratory, distribution of Insecticide treated mosquito nets (ITMN), distribution of neem oil, mass communication through – rally, cultural programme, sports event, quiz completion, drawing competition, village meeting, wall paintings, posters, audio visual shows etc.; providing support during IRS, supporting innovative iron net proofing of houses, conducting health camps, providing referral support to serious patients.

In addition to this Swasthya Swaraj is providing OPD and IPD services to the patients. DAPTA and Swasthya Swaraj are providing microscopy facility for diagnosis of malaria and OVHA is providing mobile health care services in inaccessible areas.
