Partners’ Meet – 2010 (PURI)

A Partners Meet of the SDTT-SRI Partners was organized from 4-5 June 2010 at Puri, Odisha. The event witnessed active involvement of 54 participants from various parts of the country. This meeting during 2010 was organized for evolving a distinct road map for SDTT, the SRI Secretariat and the SRI Partners in implementation of the programme, as well as for sharing best practices and addressing specific challenges in adoption of SRI in India.

Partners’ Meet – 2011 (DEHRADUN)

A Partners Meet of the SDTT-SRI Partners was organized from 22-24 February 2011 at Dehradun, Uttarakhand. 71 participants representing the Government, civil society and NGOs as well as eminent persons from the development sector had participated in this three day event. Organized by Livolink Foundation, Bhubaneswar (that hosts the SRI Secretariat) and People’s Science Institute, Dehradun – the objective of organizing this meet was to share experiences on SRI promotion in India as well as contextual review of current activities under the SDTT supported SRI Programme.

Partners’ Meet – 2012 (BodhGaya)

The fifth SDTT-SRI Partners Meet was organized from 23rd to 25th January 2012 at Hotel Sujata, Bodh Gaya, Bihar. The meet was attended by 93 participants representing partner NGOs working in the SDTT-SRI programme, officials from Government of Bihar and from BRLPS, farmers from Gaya and Nalanda Districts, scientists from ICAR and other notable persons from the development sector. Supported by Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and Allied Trusts, Mumbai, the event was co-organized by Livolink Foundation, Bhubaneswar and Professional Assistance for Development Action, Gaya.

Partners’ Meet – 2013

A three day National Level Meet of SDTT SRI Partners was organized at Amaltash, Ranchi, Jharkhand, from February 27 – March 1, 2013. The meet witnessed active participation of 69 participants representing the Government; partner NGOs in the SDTT programme, research institutions, scientists and notable persons from the social development sector. The meet was supported by the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT) and Allied Trusts, Mumbai and co-organized by Livolink Foundation, Bhubaneswar and Society for Promotion of Wastelands Development (SPWD), Ranchi. During the course of the event, the first two days comprised in-house discussions at Ranchi and on the final day a field exposure visit was organized to SWI project areas in Ranchi District.
